CALLAWAY REVA LADIES GOLF DRIVER
Callaway have made some huge strides forward in driver technology in the past six years and the release of the Callaway Reva Ladies Golf Driver sees all this tech packaged together in a superb ladies driver for the first time.
All aspects of the Reva driver have been optimised to reduce the amount of curve on the golf ball which will produce straighter and longer drives. Most low spin drivers that have been released thus far have also been low launching which would not work well for the average lady golfer. The Reva driver has been designed to launch the ball high to maximise carry, but due to an ultra-low and forward CG, spin has been significantly reduced which will also maximise roll.
Callaway’s A.I. designed Flash Face, which has worked so well in the men’s drivers, is present in the Reva and produces impressive ball speeds off the face even on shots that are struck well off centre. The Reva driver also benefits from internal heel weighting which gives the driver a substantial draw bias and can massively reduce any distance sapping left-to-right curve.
One of Callaway’s most significant breakthroughs was the invention of jailbreak technology first seen in the Epic range of drivers. Essentially two strengthening bars that run vertically behind the face, they allow the face to flex, creating more ball speed. They also enable weight to be redistributed around the perimeter of the club head which significantly improves resistance to twisting on off centre hits.
The shaft is extremely lightweight, weighing in at just 40 grams which allows for faster club head speeds without any extra effort and a super soft Lamkin grip is an excellent premium addition to this superb driver.
If you are a lady golfer looking for extra distance and reduced slice on your drive, then the Callaway Reva Ladies Golf Driver would be an excellent choice. It is a superb addition to our fantastic range of Callaway golf equipment.
