Callaway Jaws Raw Full Toe Golf Wedge (Chrome)
For a long time golf wedges were all very much of a muchness, with only subtle variations available in both design and bounce. When Phil Mickleson, one of the finest short game exponents that has ever lived had a wedge designed by Callaway that looked radically different from anything else it seemed to open the floodgates to manufacturers exploring more unconventional designs. The original PM grind wedge proved to be enormously successful with its more triangular shape and full face grooves allowing for supreme versatility around the green.
Callaway are taking spin and control to new levels by leveraging:
• Grooves across the face, with a 37° wall angle to promote a controlled “one hop and stop” trajectory.
• New raw face enables a more direct connection between the ball and the face at impact.
• Offset Groove-in-Groove Technology.
The Full Toe shape provides more face area with an enhanced but refined toe peak. The shaping works with the specialised J-Grind to make short shots around the green easy to hit, especially bunker shots and high flops. This wedge is built to perform on mid and full wedge shots too, with a pre- worn leading edge for great turf interaction. Weight Balanced Design for Enhanced Feel and Improved Scoring Performance. The Full Toe shape also pushes CG higher, for a design that creates a lower, more controlled trajectory. Callaway’s Variable Weight Port System helps us locate CG away from the heel, for solid contact and enhanced feel.
Should you be looking for new wedges that can cope with any challenge you are faced with around the green, then the fantastic Callaway Jaws Full Toe Raw Face Golf Wedge should be right at the top of your list. They are another superb addition to our comprehensive range of Callaway Golf Equipment.
