Cobra AeroJet Max Golf Fairway
Cobra Golf have produced some superb fairway woods over the past few years with each one offering an enticing blend of power and forgiveness. Utilising innovative technologies, they have managed to progress performance along at a steady rate with each new model improving over the previous one in impressive fashion. This season sees the release of the AeroJet family of fairway woods, and it appears that Cobra has managed it once again.
Much like the range of drivers, the Cobra AeroJet fairway wood collection has three different options to choose from, with each one offering distinctive features and benefits that will lend themselves to a certain type of golfer. The AeroJet is their standard head and will suit the broadest range of handicaps and style of golf whilst the AeroJet LS is a low spin offering that is more suited to the better golfer that produces higher club head speeds. The final option is the AeroJet Max which is the most forgiving in the range and provides the most draw bias.
Improving on the lightning ballspeeds that the LTDx series produced was always going to take something special, and the PWR-Bridge weighting technology found in the AeroJet series is most certainly that. Based on DaVinci’s seminal Bridge design that dates back to 1502, the PWR-Bridge Weighting has been strategically positioned behind the face enabling unrestricted flexibility of both the club face and sole. It also serves to positioned the CG low and forward, unleashing the fastest ball speeds ever produced.
Cobra’s PWRSHELL with H.O.T Face technology that has served previous models so well, returns again on the AeroJet range. Designed using artificial intelligence, this cutting edge design creates a variable thickness pattern that helps the AeroJet deliver more efficient speed and spin at all points of contact on the face. The use of carbon has been increased to create a lighter and stronger chassis enabling the Cobra engineers to redistribute the weight more effectively to improve the stability and forgiveness of these superb fairway woods.
PWR-BRIDGE WEIGHTING
An innovative suspended bridge weight design enables unrestricted flexibility of the face and sole, and positions the CG low and forward to unleash faster ball speed.
PWRSHELL WITH H.O.T FACE
A forged PWRSHELL face insert maximises flexibility for faster ball speed and higher launch. A H.O.T Face design uses artificial intelligence to create a variable thickness pattern that delivers more efficient speed and spin across the face.
ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTING
Two adjustable weight settings in the back and heel allow for a neutral or draw-biased ball flight.
CARBON FIBRE CROWN
A carbon crown enables a lower CG for higher launch and added forgiveness.
ADJUSTABLE LOFT
An adjustable loft sleeve offers fine tuning of trajectory and spin. Each loft is adjustable up to +/- 1.5 from the printed loft on the head.
