The Mizuno ST-X 220 fairway woods have been designed as a confidence inspiring, draw biased clubs that feature deep internal weighting and represents an ideal choice for the golfer that often struggles for launch and hit shots with too much splice spin.  Mizuno’s innovative X-Axis technology has allowed them focus weight deep into to the heel which promotes a high and drawing ball flight. 

The profile of the 3 wood head is a generous one and helps to lessen the look of difficulty when going from hitting a driver to then hitting a fairway wood. The club face of the 3-wood has been constructed with a highly resilient SAT2041 Beta titanium and features a variable thickness CORTECH design which ensures the maximum possible ball speeds possible are achieved regardless of the contact point on the face. When matched up with the full titanium Ti811 body it delivers their fastest ever ball speeds from a fairway wood. Both the 5-woods and 7 woods have been constructed with a maraging steel face and feature a significantly more compact appearance. This  makes them far more versatile and allows for effective use from less than perfect lies.
