The Emery Face blast provides extra texture on the clubface itself, creating higher levels of friction and increasing the amount of interaction between the clubface and ball. This allows the golfer to fire low spinning wedge shots aggressively at the pin, all in the knowledge that the Glide 4 wedge will provide the ultimate stopping power. 

The Multi-Material construction of the PING Glide 4 wedge has allowed them to combine 8620 carbon steel with an enlarged and softer elastomer insert that provides a soft and responsive feel through the strike, helping to elevate your touch on the more delicate shots around the green. At address the PING Glide 4 provides a stunning profile with a pleasingly rounded and compact design that has been enhanced by advancements to the leading edge and hosel transition.

The lower lofted wedges (50° and 52°) feature a 20° sidewall that has been milled to maximise groove volume whilst the higher lofted wedges have been milled with a 28° sidewall and a tighter radius to help impart greater levels of spin, increasing precision on the shorter finesse shots. There are four distinctive sole grind options (S, W, T, E) which have been created to allow you to find the perfect match for your angle of attack, and the turf conditions you normally play on. This gives all golfers the best chance of excelling around the greens and helps to turn dropped shots into par saves.
