Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Golf Driver
The ZX5 LS Mk II Driver uses a forward-placed sole weight to reduce long-game spin—perfect for players with aggressive swing speeds. ZX5 LS Mk II features the same large footprint and flattened shape as ZX5 Mk II, along with its adjustable hosel sleeve for dialing face angle and loft.
Most Drivers have one flex zone, the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII driver has two thanks to its Rebound Frame. Like a spring within a spring, Rebound Frame elevates COR across the face for increased ball speed. And that extra ball speed leads to more distance off the tee. Here’s how it works: Like any modern Driver, the speed of ZX5 LS Mk II starts with a flexible face—and our Driver face is especially fast thanks to its unique Ti51AF Titanium alloy construction. The similarities end there, though, because Rebound Frame adds a second flexible zone, a ring of thin, flexible titanium behind the face. This additional layer of speed within the Driver’s body means that, where normal Drivers flex just once at impact, ours flex twice. Overall, Rebound Frame adds a 10% larger High COR area to the Srixon Driver faces over the previous generation. But it’s not only in their Drivers; Rebound Frame technology also adds speed to the Srixon ZX Mk II Fairway Woods and ZX Mk II Hybrids, so it’s enhancing every aspect of your long game.
Rebound Frame’s two flex zones work harmoniously to generate enhanced ball speed and distance: Zone 1, the Driver face, deforms inwardly at impact. Zone 2, a ring of flexibility offset from the face, deforms outwardly. When these two zones snap back to shape just after impact, the compounded energy transfer is more powerful and efficient than standard designs.
ADJUSTABILITY
The ZX5 LS Mk II comes equipped with one 8g sole weight placed forward in the head that keeps spin low and distance high. An adjustable hosel also provides the opportunity to perfect your preferred loft, lie, and face angle.
STAR FRAME CROWN
With Star Frame, a complex series of ridges and latticework provide the structural integrity necessary to feature a remarkably thin titanium crown. This new, ultralight design gives us the freedom to place discretionary mass where it best suits each ZX Mk II Driver’s ideal launch and spin characteristics.
VARIABLE THICKNESS FACE
Most Drivers have a high COR when struck on the sweet spot. But, with Srixon ZX Mk II Drivers, we incorporate an intricate variable thickness pattern to expand that high COR area across the entire clubface. These unique ridges—hidden on the backside of our Ti51AF Driver faces—enhance high COR from heel to toe by improving how energy reflects into the ball on off-centre shots. It’s adding ball speed for even more distance off the tee. For this Mk II generation, the face pattern is 0.25mm thinner at its centre and 0.4mm thicker at its perimeter. These refinements add even more COR across the face for more powerful drives across the course.
