Turf interaction is aided by increased sole curvature thereby allowing for good shots to be hit from all kinds of differing lies.

As on the standard TaylorMade Stealth iron, the Stealth HD iron has been constructed with a multi-material Cap Back™ design which maximises forgiveness and feel and further lowers the centre of gravity. To avoid the horrible tinny feeling that clubs of this ilk have suffered from in the past, TaylorMade have developed an Echo-Dampening System with soft polymer being strategically positioned inside the clubhead to channel away harsh vibrations and produces a feel more associated with a forged style of iron.
