TITLEIST TSi 2 DRIVER 

On January the 1st 2008 the R & A brought in a new rule which limited the C.O.R. on driver faces to try and limit the distance the golf ball would travel. What that actually did though, was to give the exceptional golf club designers at companies like Titleist an incentive to come up with new ways of making golf drivers better, and with the Titleist TSi 2 they have created what could possibly be the best driver ever. 

The Titleist TSi 2 driver has a bigger overall appearance than the TSi 3, (although both are the maximum 460cc size), with a more elongated head shape and an aesthetically pleasing rounded toe design. The TSi 2 looks perfectly square when placed behind the ball at address and has a very inviting presence that is sure to inspire confidence as you take your swing. Whilst the appearance at address retains Titleist’s classic look, both the face and sole plate of the club are more futuristic than on previous models, and hints at the added new technology this driver brings. 

With a never seen before ATI 425 Aerospace Titanium construction, Titleist have massively improved the acoustics and the sound produced at impact is now much lower pitched, extremely satisfying thud, which will be welcomed by golfers regardless of ability. This new material has also allowed Titleist to increase ball speeds at every point of contact on the face, and it is this that makes the new Titleist Tsi 2 driver perhaps the most forgiving driver on the market today.  

Many drivers on the market now offer high M.O.I at impact (resistance to twisting on heel and toe strikes) but Titleist have taken this a step further with an added focus on increasing performance on shots that are either struck low or high on the face. Now, shots that are struck slightly ‘thin’, or ones hit close to the crown, will perform almost the same as if hit right out of the centre which represents are huge advancement in driver design.
